Martian Coasters is a Treehouse game in which each player is assigned a gameboard of a particular color. The set includes 4 colors: Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. Thus, only 4 can play, even though the Treehouse set (which the game requires) comes with 5 colors.

This problem-statement is presented in cartoon form on the front of the 2006 Holiday Card. (You can see those cartoons by going to the WWN article for December 14, 2006). Inside the card is a free copy of the thing you need to make that fifth color work: a Black coaster!

Pulp Gamer did a podcast interview with Andy Looney. Pulp Gamer provides free audio reviews, interviews, special topics, and commentary about board games, card games, and roleplaying games. This month they interviewed Andy saying "after continuously bringing up Looney Labs games over the lifetime of pulp gamer, it was only appropriate that we bring Andy Looney in on the discussion. Looney Labs has been producing creative and interesting games since 1996. Titles brought up during todays show include Fluxx, Icehouse, Treehouse, Chrononaughts, and Are You a Werewolf?. All of their games are wildly entertaining while surprisingly educational and suitable for people of all ages. Looney Labs games have won numerous awards including two Parents Choice and two Mensa Select awards."
